Identity in Computing Group

Both computing departments and tech organizations have long struggled with diversity, equity, and inclusion issues. The Identity in Computing Group is dedicated to studying the impact of identity on computing, from classroom/industry environments to the technologies that are developed (and the identities these technologies then impact in adverse ways). This work blends social science with computer science to identify strategies for making computing more equitable and inclusive.

The Identity in Computing Group is soliciting undergraduate researchers for the 2021-2022 academic year!
